1. Article Processing Charges (APCs)
Scifiniti Publishing is committed to providing a high-quality, fully open-access publishing platform, where all articles are published as Gold Open Access under a Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license (View Scifiniti Publishing Open Access Policy).
All articles published until 31 December 2026 are free of charge, and authors can take advantage of optional services such as English editing and graphical enhancements complimentary, ensuring high-quality publications without financial barriers.
After this date, APCs may be introduced to sustain essential services, including peer review, editorial support, production, and global dissemination. These charges will reflect actual publishing costs, ensure transparency, and maintain editorial independence.
- No fees are currently charged for submissions or publications.
- Certain content types—Editorials, Corrections, Addendums, Retractions, and Comments—will remain free of charge.
- There are no additional fees for the publication of color figures in the online (electronic) version. Authors may include color illustrations to improve the quality and clarity of their work without incurring any charges.
- Complementary services are provided as needed to support authors and ensure high-quality publications. These may include:
- Minor English editing to ensure clarity and readability.
- Graphical enhancements, formatting support, or other professional assistance as necessary.
- Rigorous peer review is central to maintaining the integrity and quality of published research, and all services are designed to support this process without compromising editorial independence.
- When APCs are implemented, they will:
- Be aligned with industry standards and comparable journals, covering the costs of publishing and dissemination.
- Be communicated clearly in advance, including guidance on eligibility for waivers or discounts.
2. Waivers and Discounts
When APCs are introduced, Scifiniti Publishing will implement discounts and waivers to promote research accessibility:
- Authors from low- and middle-income countries, affiliated institutions with agreements, or research fields with limited funding may be eligible.
- Authors affiliated with institutions or societies that have signed a formal agreement (MoU) with Scifiniti Publishing may be eligible for discounts.
- Waivers and discounts will be applied based on predetermined criteria and case-by-case assessment.
4. Editorial Independence
Scifiniti Publishing is dedicated to transparent business practices and editorial integrity. All financial considerations are separate from editorial decisions, ensuring a fair, accessible, and high-quality open-access platform for global research.
5. Business Models and Revenue Sources
Scifiniti Publishing is fully committed to advancing open-access research. Currently, there are no Article Processing Charges (APCs). In the future, revenue may be generated through APCs and optional services offered to authors and institutions, including:

- Author Services: Services such as language editing, graphical enhancements, formatting support, or promotional packages for published articles.
