We welcome senior academics, researchers, and editorial leaders with expertise in power systems, energy engineering, renewable energy, electrical infrastructure, smart grids, energy conversion, energy storage, and related areas.
The Editor-in-Chief will provide academic leadership and support the development of the journal within this subject area. The role will involve shaping the editorial direction, supporting the peer-review process, strengthening the editorial board, and promoting high-quality research in energy engineering and power technology.
Key responsibilities of the Editor-in-Chief will include:
- Defining the editorial direction and vision of the journal
- Maintaining rigorous editorial and peer-review standards
- Overseeing the peer-review process in collaboration with the Editorial Office
- Making final manuscript decisions after peer review and revision
- Recommending suitable members for the Editorial Board
- Supporting the recruitment and development of the editorial team
- Suggesting special issue topics to enhance the journal’s scope and visibility
- Promoting the journal within the relevant academic and professional community
- Writing editorials, where required
- Supporting the Editorial Office in matters related to research ethics and publication misconduct
- Participating in journal development and progress meetings
