Biography:

Fathi Amsaad, Ph.D. (Senior Member, IEEE), is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Wright State University, with a joint appointment in the Department of Biomedical, Industrial, and Human Factors Engineering. He is the Director of the Semiconductor Microelectronics Security, Assurance, Resilience, and Trust (SMART) Cybersecurity Research Lab.

His research focuses on cybersecurity, trusted microelectronics, hardware security, secure embedded systems, semiconductor assurance, and resilient computing. Dr. Amsaad has led and contributed to more than $30 million in federally and industry-funded research initiatives and serves as the Founder and General Chair of the IEEE Conference on Secure and Trustworthy CyberInfrastructure for IoT and Microelectronics (IEEE SaTC).
