Dr. Yao Ge received the Ph.D. degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Shatin, Hong Kong, in 2021. He is currently a Research Fellow with the AUMOVIO-NTU Corporate Lab, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.

His current research interests include wireless communications and system design, the Internet of Things, cognitive radio networks, automotive signal processing and communications, integrated sensing and communications, wireless network security, statistical signal processing, optimization, and game theory.

He has been actively involved in organizing and chairing sessions and has served as a TPC Member at numerous international conferences. He received the Best Paper Award from the International Conference on Wireless Communications and Signal Processing (WCSP) 2022, the Best Poster Award at the Chinese Institute of Electronics Conference on Information Theory 2024, and the Best Paper Award from the International Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing (IWCMC) Conference 2026.

He is a founding member of the IEEE ComSoc Special Interest Group (SIG) on OTFS and has served as an Organizer and Chair of workshops and special sessions at IEEE/CIC ICCC (2022, 2025, and 2026), IEEE WCNC 2026, IEEE ISIT 2026, IEEE PIMRC 2026, and IEEE GLOBECOM 2026.

He is also an Editor of IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, Engineering, Journal of Communications and Information Networks, Journal of Information and Intelligence, Electronics and Signal Processing, and a Regional Editor of Computing&AI Connect.
