Scifiniti Publishing, in collaboration with the Training Centre in Communication (TCC Africa), is pleased to announce that the recording of the webinar “AI Without Misconduct: Responsible GenAI Use, Disclosure, and Verification” is now available online.

Held on 15 July 2026, the webinar brought together researchers, editors, academics, and scholarly communication professionals to examine the responsible use of generative artificial intelligence in research and academic publishing.

The session addressed important issues surrounding the growing use of AI-assisted tools, including responsible disclosure, verification of AI-generated information, research integrity, transparency, and the prevention of academic and publication misconduct.

The discussion highlighted that generative AI can support researchers in several areas, but its use must be guided by appropriate ethical standards, human oversight, accurate disclosure, and careful verification of generated content. Participants were encouraged to consider both the opportunities and the risks associated with using AI throughout the research and publication process.
