Scifiniti Publishing is pleased to announce its upcoming webinar in collaboration with the Training Centre in Communication, Africa (TCC Africa), titled “AI Without Misconduct: Responsible GenAI Use, Disclosure, and Verification.”

The webinar will take place on 15 July 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM EAT, in a virtual format via Zoom.

As Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools continue to influence research, education, scholarly communication, and publishing, the need for responsible use, transparent disclosure, and reliable verification has become increasingly important. This webinar will provide a platform to discuss how researchers, institutions, publishers, and research support professionals can respond to emerging opportunities and challenges associated with GenAI.

The speaker line-up includes Ms. Joy Owango, Executive Director of TCC Africa; Mr. Qasit Malik, Publishing DIrector Scifiniti; Dr. Iroh Williams, Co-founder and Lead Facilitator of Williams AI Nexus (WAIN); Dr. Mahmoud Elsabahy, Editor-in-Chief of Pharmaceuticals and Nanotech Connect and Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research at Badr University in Cairo, Egypt; and Abdallah Abou Hajal, Managing Editor and AI Automation Lead at Scifiniti Publishing.

The session will cover key themes including AI transparency, responsible disclosure practices, verification of AI-assisted outputs, fact-checking, research integrity, institutional readiness, publisher expectations, and the development of responsible AI workflows across the research lifecycle.

Through this collaboration, Scifiniti Publishing and TCC Africa aim to support informed discussion on ethical AI adoption and strengthen awareness of responsible practices in scholarly communication.
