Dr. Hanieh Yaghootkar, MD, MSc, PhD, is Professor of Health Data and Technology at the University of Southampton. She leads a multidisciplinary research team that combines advanced statistical methods, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and genetic epidemiology to investigate complex human diseases. Her work harnesses large-scale human datasets to identify causal biomarkers, develop personalised prediction models, and uncover the biological mechanisms that drive disease risk and progression.
