Biography:

Dr. Hany Elgala is an Associate Professor at the University at Albany - SUNY. He was awarded the Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Experienced Research Fellowship at TU-Berlin. Dr. Elgala served as Editor for the IEEE (TCOM, Access, and TCCN), Editor at Frontiers (Optical Communications and Networks), and a Chair at Optica SPPCOM Advanced Photonics Congress.

Interests:

Visible light communications (VLC) technology and LiFi networks, coexistence in wireless heterogeneous networks (HetNets), localization, Internet-of-Things (IoT) security, backscatter communication, artificial intelligence in wireless communications.
